Scheduling Coordinator/ Receptionist
As an orthodontic receptionist, your job is to provide various administrative services. In this role, you may help manage the office, collect information from a patient, schedule appointments, and help people learn what to expect from an orthodontic practice. In addition to helping patients, as scheduling coordinator, you also help the doctor and clinical staff by scheduling their days appropriately using a scheduling template.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide a positive experience for patients on the phone and in person
- Schedule using a scheduling software and scheduling template correctly
- Use proper phone etiquette
- Be the first face and voice to set the tone for our patient's experience.
- Use positive communication, even in challenging circumstances
- Maintain excellent record of communication in patient's chart
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior reception/office experience
- Comfortable utilizing and learning software scheduling
- Competent in computer basics
- Active listening and interpersonal communication
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
