About the Job:
Cochrane Supply is an award-winning, internationally recognized technology company distributing Building Automation and IIoT products. Due to growth, Cochrane Supply is seeking a full-time Branch Manager for our Denver, CO location. The position will be heavily focused on customer service and will be responsible for building customer relationships and sales growth for existing customer accounts as well as developing new accounts in the HVAC, Building Automation, and Controls industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle day to day branch management and operations
- Supervise branch personnel (inside sales, counter sales, and warehouse staff)
- Inside and counter sales including answering incoming sales calls and assisting customers at the counter
- Create and process customer orders and quotes in the inventory and accounting system (Prophet 21)
- Develop, deliver, and follow up on accurate customer quotes in a timely manner
- Process customer Return Material Authorization (RMAs) for products
- Provide technical expertise regarding current product offerings to customers
- Build relationships with new and existing customers
- Inform customers about events, product training, and new products available
- Assist marketing team with organizing and executing events at the branch
- Coordinate and support training classes hosted at the branch in conjunction with the training team including arranging meals, room setup,
- Support outside sales staff in the market
- Develop an expertise in product lines and sales techniques through internal training opportunities and professional development
- Provide excellent customer service
- Facility management and maintenance coordination with other departments and outside contractors as needed
- Maintain counter/showroom area
- Warehouse management including shipping & receiving, customer will call, and inventory management
Hours, Salary, and Location:
Full time position, typically 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, but may require travel to other company locations as well as customer facilities. Salary negotiable and based on experience. Position will be located in Denver, CO.
Necessary Experience:
- Experience in HVAC, Temperature Control or Building Automation Systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships with customers and internal employees
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to quickly learn and retain new concepts
- Excellent time and project management skills with strong attention to detail
- High degree of organization, accuracy, and flexibility; exceptional attention to detail
- Team player and collaborative
- Proven ability to be a self-starter with ability to initiate action and follow an effort through to completion
- Familiarity with Windows platforms and Microsoft Office 365
Preferred Experience:
- Mechanical & Electrical background a plus
- Understanding of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
