Summary/Objective
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical and administrative activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
Essential Functions
- Answer telephones and troubleshoot customer service-related issues. Directs calls to the appropriate associate and departments.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Distributes mail each day via ImageNow. Verify the page count against the original documents scanned from RICOH.
- Postmark and coordinate all outgoing company mail daily.
- Responsible for opening and closing main office doors each morning and afternoon.
- Maintains inventory, ordering and distribution of office and break room supplies.
- Completes verifications of employment within 3 days of receipt.
- Verify and maintain the “New Hire Verification” queue.
- Additional administrative project as required.
Required Education and Experience
A High School Diploma is required. Must have excellent client service skills. Verbal/written communication and strong interpersonal skills are needed.
Preferred Education and Experience
Multi-line phones and computer skills are required, Microsoft Office preferred. 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
