Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
- Answer multi-line phones, screen calls, and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule appointments for attorneys and ensure accurate calendars are maintained
- Take clear and concise messages for attorneys and other staff
- Manage mail and package deliveries, ensuring proper distribution
- Prepare documents for copying, scanning, and faxing
- Assist with light administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area
- Order office supplies
- May perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in a receptionist role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Familiarity with legal terminology (a plus)
- Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
