About The Role
Responsible for reception services to visitors, guests and vendors. Provide telephone switchboard services for incoming and outgoing calls. Assist residents and staff. Monitor and advise of emergency situations. Responsible to screen all associates and visitors entering the building.
Shift: 3:30 PM - 7:45 PM, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Alternating Saturdays

Responsibilities:
- Answer phone in a timely manner.
- Direct visitors, guests and vendors entering lobby by greeting them and referring them to the appropriate area or person.
- Receive and direct all incoming calls.
- Operate intercom system.
- Monitor fire alarm panel and security monitors, and notify the proper authorities of the deviation.
- Announce emergencies.
- Accepts/delivers flowers and packages.
- Take and relay messages to staff and residents.
- Maintain a calendar of activities.
- Maintain an orderly reception area.
- Report repairs relay to proper authorities.
- Maintain resident records.
- Receive gifts and donations and forward to the Foundation Office
- Maintain resident directory of room assignments and employee and resident telephone lists.
- Address birthday and get well cards for residents.
- Responsible to safely screen associates and visitors as they enter the building
- Properly complete entry questionnaire in its entirety

Requirements:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or at least six months clerical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
- Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.
- Possess intermediate personal computer skills and ability to utilize various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Possess exceptional Customer Service skills.
