Chiropractic and Functional Medicine Doctor’s Assistant/Receptionist

$20-$23/hour depending on experience
*This is a part time, (1099) independent contractor position that does not offer benefits, but will provide bonuses based on performance

Work Schedule:
Monday: 8:45am-12:15pm (approx.)
Wednesday: 8:45am-12:15pm, 2:30pm-6pm (approx.)
Friday: 8:45am-12:15pm (approx.)
Opportunity to add hours on Saturday if candidate would like: 7:45am-10:15am (approx.)

Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist Responsibilities:

The ideal team member would feel comfortable acting as one of both a doctors' aide and patient liaison and be able to talk with patients about sensitive topics and handle patient paperwork with care & confidentiality (including financials), have excellent listening skills, and have confidence in their communication abilities.

• Maintaining organization and operational efficiency are a must as this position will require patient facing responsibilities while both assisting the doctor as well as handling standard front desk/reception responsibilities
• Team member will be performing additional therapies for the patients once they have seen the doctor. Therapies include ultrasound, massage gun, and E-stim therapy. No Prior education needed. All therapies will be taught by the doctor and office manager prior to working with patients.
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures including cleaning and turning on/off equipmentFunctional Medicine Assistant Responsibilities: These responsibilities will be performed during specific functional medicine patient appointments and during times when chiropractic patients are not in the office.
• Uploading patient blood/saliva testing information into EHR system
• Place supplement/nutraceutical orders
• Fulfill Care Credit and discuss other contractual/financial obligations with patients
• Future opportunities include salary bonuses for learning to teach one on one classes withpatients regarding initial orientation into functional medicine programs, nutrition, fitness and stress management

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 22 per week
