Ravenwood Health is looking for a receptionist to help manage our front desk, perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, provide a friendly voice, direct clients to the correct offices, and to make appointments or seek help. Making a positive first impression with all our clients is our goal.
Receptionist Job Duties:
- Greet clients and directly them appropriately.
- Answer a multi-line phone.
- Verify clients demographic and insurance information.
- Collect copays, deductibles, and balances at the time of visit.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Function as an arm of the billing team
- Work with the billing coordinator on process improvement.
- Travel and perform job duties at all practice sites.
Receptionist Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience working in a front office preferred but not required.
- Previous experience with a multi-line phone system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively.
