Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative Screen Printer assistant to join our team. As a Screen Printer assistant, you will be responsible for preparing jobs to print and catch the dryer. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail.
Duties:
- Prepare screens by coating them with emulsion and exposing them to create stencils
- Mix and prepare inks for printing
- Set up screen printing equipment
- Catching shirts that come out of the dryer and organize them by size
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, repairing, and replacing parts as necessary
Requirements:
- Ability to illustrate or create custom designs is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Art direction skills are desirable but not required
