As a Receptionist, you are the first person the guest interacts with when contacting the restaurant. It is your job to make them feel welcome, provide information and answer questions as needed. Excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure are essential.
Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the menu
- Basic knowledge of the membership program and it’s members.
- Answer phone calls and respond to basic inquiries and take reservations accurately
- Must be detail-oriented and possess phone etiquette skills
- Ensure that all guest inquiries are handled timely, efficiently and with care
- Knowledge of the restaurant operations (hours, location, general information, etc.)
- Knowledge of table numbers, manage names on a waiting list and communicate wait to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
- Possess OpenTable experience
- Communicate effectively with the Host Team and Service Team
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
