The Doctor’s Choice Home HealthAgency is seeking a Receptionist that will be responsible for performing basic clinical, administrative and office support functions, including greeting guests and answering high volume calls. The right candidate will uphold the positive reputation of our agency by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner. They will enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments; promotes customer service excellence.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Using a multi-line telephone, answers, and appropriately routes all incoming calls for any departments with courtesy, speed, and accuracy
- Manage front desk sign in sheet and keep company phone number extension list up-to-date
- Distribute faxes that arrive to the appropriate department
- Serves and protects the agency by adhering to professional standards, organizational policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and HIPAA standards
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Receptionist Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize task based on importance
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work collectively with administrative team associates
- Able to work with minimum supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
