Salary: $110,000 – 125,000/year plus 10% bonus*

As a R&D Lead Engineer (Hydrogen Technology) you will focus on supporting research and development in emerging hydrogen products.
Day to day tasks include:
- Managing safety protocols & procedures for safe commissioning, testing, & decommissioning hydrogen equipment.
- Maintaining site timeline & prepare for upcoming tests.
- Coordinating activities of the test site to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintaining safety training documentation and train new personnel.
- Analyzing critical-to-safety design attributes of hydrogen systems and test fixtures.
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- BS engineering degree required; Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical preferred.
- Working knowledge of industrial codes and common engineering practices used within the oil and gas industry. Codes of specific interest are ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII Division 1, NFPA 52/59A/55/2.
- 7 years of experience in the engineering, design, fabrication, and commissioning of mechanical equipment used in the cryogenic pressure vessel or process industry preferred.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA or controls automation.
- Experience with design of experiments and data acquisition.
- Must have some experience with Hydrogen and/or fueling stations in some capacity. Liquid gas experience will also be considered.
- Cryogenics exp would be great (commissioning and service)
- Must have capacity to work independently. Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple tasks. You will be able to make many decisions on the project!
- Knowledge of SAE hydrogen fueling standards (J2601).
- Experience with hands-on technical work which requires partnering with field operation and production staff.
- Must be able to work in an Office environment, H2 Test Site outdoor testing, Engineering lab, and both indoor & outdoor testing.
Salary: $110,000 – 125,000/year plus 10% bonus*
