Who You Are:
As Radiology Scheduling Coordinator for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you'll be the backbone of our Invasive Scheduling department. You're a scheduling wizard with a heart for patient care. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks with ease. Detail-oriented and compassionate, you understand the importance of every appointment and strive to ensure each patient's experience is seamless and stress-free.
This is a fully benefitted full time (32 hour/week) Monday through Friday position.This is a hybrid position, 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule procedures and exams across various hospital departments, ensuring paperwork is completed promptly.
- Verify and update insurance information, reaching out to patients when necessary.
- Assist in patient registration when needed.
- Field incoming calls, providing accurate information and routing calls efficiently.
- Coordinate with referring physicians' offices to gather necessary information for procedures.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across our satellite locations to streamline processes and ensure smooth operations.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving for swift resolution.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in scheduling and prior authorization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn new systems.
- A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
