Production Schedule Coordinator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for the organization, management and scheduling of jobs on the manufacturing floor in order to achieve on time delivery targets and throughput goals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
* Identify and prioritize jobs in each functional area of the shop using ERP system and available reports.
* Develop a daily and weekly plan to complete available jobs, by operation date and communicate that plan to machine operators and supervisors to achieve on time delivery goals.
* Acts as the primary liaison to inside/outside sales for schedule and capacity status as well as fielding rush/expedite requests.
* Communicate machining center status to supervision so that personnel can be moved as needed to support timely completion of jobs in each area.
* Manage the shop schedule and work with shop supervision to re-align resources as needed to meet production deadlines.
* Maintain traveler and routing accuracy; working directly with Production Planning to make adjustments for system deficiencies, errors, trapped operations and routing discrepancies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school and vocational education with proficient computer skills and general knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with an ERP system- Epicor preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong drive and initiative to succeed.
- Ability to work under pressure with flexibility and cooperation.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
