This is a critical and essential position that provides leadership to the quality and pigments departments as well as support to multiple departments within the organization including production, research, and development (R&D), and EHS. The role is critical for quality control leadership, new product rollout and testing, and continuous improvement through investigations into both internal and external product quality and performance issues.

These skills and experiences will make you a good fit for this role
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred
- Technical degree with 5 years’ experience or non-technical degree with 15 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and chemistry expertise
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (depending on education)
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Laboratory, Lean, and Training experience required.
- ISO / RC auditing and management systems experience a plus
- Strong technical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to lead by example and sets environment for taking risks within the organization by addressing constraints and enabling resources.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- EHS: Accountable for daily environmental compliance and safety compliance, waste management activities and company policies.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft programs
- Fosters the integration of a diversity of perspectives across the organization resulting in development of high performing teams and output.
- Compensation Range: $95,000-$100,000 per year
