The Role
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality-related activities for all assigned programs within the KT Alabama plant. Among other responsibilities, you will define internal objectives and ensure their consistency with client objectives and regulatory provisions. This is a critical role for the Alabama facility.
Missions and Authorities:
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Quality Objectives set by the Client / Group and consistency between the Internal and External Objectives
- Has the authority to stop production and any defective product, ask all the sectors involved the definition of remedial actions, involve them in the search for solutions, validate them and proceed to restart production and deliveries only when it considers issue to be solved
- Represents the Customer throughout the production period
- Ensures proper application of methodologies specified by the Quality Group
Specific Activities:
- Defines internal objectives and ensures their consistency with client objectives and regulatory provisions
- Together with the leaders of the Quality sector, defines its workforce, adapting them to the overall objectives, performs mapping of needs and coordinates their training and qualifications (together with Rep. HR) for completion of the various tasks associated with quality management at various levels
- Defines the establishment and implementation of different quality management means and coordinates with various sectors in the development and implementation
- Diffuses the defining indicators for these objectives to all Directorates and in particular to the General Directorate and the Directorate of the Central Group Quality without delay, the Responsible and the General Directorate of severe cases that reach the Product Quality
- Promotes internal analysis of Customer problems, according to the Quality Group tools and ensure that response is in defined formats, with results obtained and the corrective actions implemented, and follows its evolution
- Ensures the correct application of methodologies specified by the scope of the Quality Group
- Supervises the implementation of the Quality System in the field, namely, Internal Audits, Product Quality Management, corrective actions, etc.
- Develops and multiplies the directives issued by the Quality Group, reporting to the General Directorate and the Central Quality doubts / limitations arising from its application
- Collaborates with Progress Directorate in the implementation and compliance with the requirements of the Management System
- Responsible for the multiplication of actions arising from the implementation of the SPRINT in the areas of their responsibility
- Ensures the updating of quality indicators, analysis and display in places defined
- Promotes the development of Customer-Supplier relationships
