Quality Inspector

Position Summary: Adecco Permanent Placement is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector on behalf of our client. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with internal controls and customer requirements by meticulously inspecting glassware samples. Additionally, they will be responsible for promptly addressing and communicating any issues or defects found.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of glassware samples to ensure adherence to internal controls and customer specifications.
• Utilize specialized equipment and gauges, such as lehr checks, feeder streak checks, and visual inspection tools, to accurately perform quality control assessments.
• Record inspection results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Challenge inspection equipment as necessary and document outcomes.
• Collect PDS/TG samples as required.
• Take immediate action to isolate and cull non-conforming materials in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
• Successful completion of defect test and job-related assessments with a score of 90% or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to detect and classify defects in glassware accurately.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges, instruments, and operate various measuring devices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, including proficiency with computer systems.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required.
• Adherence to departmental and plant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Commitment to maintaining general housekeeping and 5S standards.

Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $53,000.00 per year
