Quality Inspector

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Measurement and visual inspection of materials (receiving inspection, in process inspection, final inspection, cosmetic inspection, first article measurements.)

2. Complete SPC documentation as required. Understand and be able to detect out of process conditions by following SPC. Keep SPC current.

3. Make quality decisions (accept or reject) based on the provided forms and control plans. Control plans are to be followed at all times.

4. Be able to calibrate simple measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers) following written procedures.

5. Follow all ISO procedures (ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001) procedures and processes. Follow plant safety requirements. Recycle as required.

6. Be able to use calipers, micrometers, microscopes, comparators, and other measurement gauges to ensure accurate measurement.

7. Follow good documentation practices completing all paperwork in pen (blue or black) and making corrections as required by GDP.

8. Complete all documentation completely making sure to sign and date. Keep required production reports and other assigned documentation and inspection tasks current.

9. Review production jobs running and make sure to stop production if out of process condition exists.

10. Any other task assigned by Quality management

Undergraduate or Equivalent Problem Solving/Trouble Shooting Experience

Graduate or Equivalent Auditing Experience (Quality)

Assembly Experience Read Technical Specifications

Inspection/Testing Experience Supervision Experience

Data Analysis Experience Management Experience

Computer/Data Entry Skills Regulatory Experience
