Job Summary

Perform receipt inspection of Quality Assurance Program material.
 

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform receipt inspection of safety related, augmented quality, and commercial grade (for dedication) material which includes:
    • Verification of compliance to Procurement documents, including supplier requirements;
    • Review supplier furnished documentation for material specification and code compliance; and initiate and control material status tags. –
  • Conduct commercial grade dedication activities for materials to be used in safety related applications, which includes: operate material test lab equipment; and coordinate testing by outside vendors.
  • Initiate and coordinate control of items identified as non-conforming during the inspection process.-
  • Provide support for and perform special projects including investigations and assessments; and testing material previously procured or installed.-
  • Provide input to vendors to preclude repetitive procurement non-conformances. Initiate, maintain, and update material status in the SAP database.

 

Job Specific Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS Engineering Degree. In lieu of degree 5 years of related Quality Assurance/supply experience.   
  • Two years of nuclear power plant or commercial Industry experience. Understanding of Quality Control receipt inspection activities.
  • Familiarity with nuclear industry codes.
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulations.
  • Must meet and maintain nuclear plant security access.
