Quality Improvement Regional Director
Must have active CA addiction counseling license. Remote but travel required.

As, QI Regional Director, you will act as a liaison between the QI coordinator team and the Corporate QI Director by monitoring and reporting results of the compliance/monitoring results of the team in addition to the assigned designated area assigned.
Required education and experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution in an appropriate behavioral science, mental health discipline or recognized helping profession.
  • 10 plus years of experience with supervision and/or management of behavioral health services or program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assures compliance of the physical and programmatic structure of the agency in regards to CARF standards, federal, state, and county regulations.
  • Acts as the point and lead for all QI Coordinators, monitor site visit calendars, activities, QI projects, and monitor performance of same.
  • Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
  • Review all documents pertaining but not limited to patient records, documents concerning the marketing efforts of the organization, and all arrangements with other parties, including independent contractors, suppliers, and agents, etc. that my contain referral and payment issues that could violate legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Assist the Corporate QI Director with special projects as assigned, Action Plans, periodic monitoring and tracking, recruitment, community relations, and public speaking upon requests from community agencies.
  • Advisor on all OTP and Residential Treatment facilities for compliance, development of expanded operations and accreditation requirements and outcomes.
  • Trainings when required for both in-house and external when warranted. Monitor internal and external audits for the QI department and Plans of Corrections from all audits.
  • Travel to facilities within specified region as established between Regional Director(s), Quality Improvement Director
  • Application of basic understanding of state and federal regulations, accreditation standards and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret documents, reports, technical procedures, regulations and correspondence and present information in a one-to-one, small group and large group setting when applicable.
  • Manage and meet QI project & task deadlines with the demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member

Competency:
  • Knowledge of CQI principles, practices, methods, and tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Power Point skills required.
  • Must be highly organized, with the ability to set priorities, work independently, and be an effective team member.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Interpersonal and motivational skills; you should be capable of building relationships across the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and capable of reading data and reports
  • Excellent problem solving, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Must possess a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of medical records and clinical care processes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability meeting deadlines and producing deliverables.
