Job Summary and Qualifications The Cardiovascular Product Line Director facilitates the integration and teamwork of all Cardiovascular Departments for optimal care of patients. Works in conjunction with the facility administrative staff and the Cardiovascular Services Medical Director to ensure the highest level of care for patients and ensures that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines. Works with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives and research. Demonstrates an understanding of economic considerations and increases physician/hospital alignment. Develops strategic and tactical plans to maximize the effectiveness of Cardiovascular services at the facility, including capital and operational budget planning and management. Ensures that Cardiovascular Services are performed in conjunction with the mission and values of the facility and of HCA, including participation in goals and processes derived from HCA-Clinical Services Group (CSG) initiatives. Acts proactively and works with a diverse group of employees. Holds employees accountable to goals and quality standards. Possesses excellent presentation and verbal skills. Interfaces with the public, media and staff (both physicians and employees). Maintains LA and Ventura County STEMI designation and Society of Chest Pain Centers Chest Pain Center accreditation. Maintains The Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center designation and County designation as appropriate.
- College Degree, Masters preferred (MSN, MBA, or MHA)
- Current California State Registered Nurse license or Radiologic Technologist registered through the ARRT and certified by the State of California required
- Minimum of 5 (prefer 10) years in Cardiovascular Services, with at least half of those years in Cardiovascular leadership (prefer in a program with full Cardiovascular services)
