Position Summary:
As a Quality Engineer – Reliability, you will:
- Design, plan, and supervise processes.
- Develop and implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials.
- Develop new materials to enhance product performance and leverage technological advances.
- Analyze the environmental and human impact of products or systems.
- Determine the causes of breakdowns, test manufactured products to maintain quality, and estimate the time and cost to complete projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Pre-production preparation using the 1QDC process with a focus on Defect-Free Process.
- Engaging in multi-level and cross-division & company activities through P0 ~ P5 stages for successful new model launches.
- Utilizing technical knowledge to improve warranty quality and project management skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Conducting Warranty Trend Analysis to prioritize Warranty Reduction Activities.
- Monitoring corrective action effectiveness based on market trends.
- Applying "Lessons Learned" and FMEA into the new model launch development.
- Maintaining a monitor vehicle program for quick feedback from the field environment and recommending new model improvements.
- Developing and executing Test Plans using solid Testing Methodology.
- Managing cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Acting as a liaison between the company and dealer networks.
- Coordinating and presenting the warranty quality status on a monthly basis to management members.
- Developing disposition plans and coordinating cross-functional members to execute disposition of suspect vehicles.
