- Familiarity/experience with As-built documentation, Software experience in the following:
- Gas Transmission GIS, GD GIS, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SAP, Documentum
- Worker is expected to work on Dual Monitors.
- Client will provide standard mouse, keyboard, docking station and at least one monitor.
- 2nd monitor must be provided by the vendor if unavailable.
- Participate in customer escalations, review issues/bugs; drive cross functional meetings to resolve issues
- Identify potential risks to application reliability and performance as new features are developed
- Build systems that produce regular platform quality reports/metrics
- Review and annotate documentation related to gas transmission and distribution pipelines.
- Extract pipeline component specifications and installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance information from historical records.
- Utilize software resources to optimize productivity and ensure work quality.
- Understand and execute detailed processes based on guidelines.
- Report on bugs and usability issues found during testing.
- Initiate and ensure accountability and timely resolution of requests to other business units.
- Respond to business requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Escalate QA issues, status to appropriate team
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and procedures
- Perform Scanning QC, Packaging, and Packaging QC over As-Built documentation packages for gas-related construction and maintenance projects on Transmission and Distribution pipelines
- Utilize GTGIS/GDGIS to add locational metadata to As-Built packages
- Weekly in-office presence to process /coordinate the transfer of physical job packages
- Utilize software resources to optimize productivity and ensure work quality
- Understand and execute detailed processes based on guidelines
- Reports on availability of documents in system of record (GORR and SAP)
- Support special projects for other groups within client as necessary
