Quality Control Manager

QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
The Quality Control Manager will lead two direct reports and manage Company efforts to ensure that production processes are stable and that finished goods meet customer quality requirements prior to shipment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, update, and manage SOPs, Work Instructions and Forms for production processes.

• Conduct inspections of production lines to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

• Conduct product lab testing, internal audits, and other quality CONTROL activities.

• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

• Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions and areas for improvement in the quality system and production.

• Identify employee training needs and organize training plans to meet quality standards.

• Lead Company compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be very hands-on in manufacturing operations.

• Should have at least 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with Mil-Std 105-E or ANSI Z1.4 Sampling Plans.

• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Must be detail oriented.

• ISO Lead Auditor Certification is a plus.

• Spanish speaker is a plus.
