Quality control (QC) is critical to build and deliver products that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. This position provides machined and fabricated components supporting our entire line of products including CleanMount, Vertica, Mobile Stations, and Suite-Stations. This position is located at our Horsham, PA engineering design, electronics assembly, and metal manufacturing facilities. Strongarm is also looking for a candidate that will adopt a culture of continuous improvement (incremental change, and blame processes, not people).

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Control Inspector I will measure, examine, and test to gauge one or more characteristics of a part or product during in-process and final inspection to determine conformity. This position inspects both incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect all incoming parts and materials to ensure that they meet Strongarm and customer specifications.
- Inspect all outgoing parts to ensure that they meet Strongarm and customer specifications based on the instructions listed on the traveler and the print.
- Log and move all parts to their proper location within the company based on the instructions provided on the traveler.
- Clock in and out of work order travelers using the barcode system.
- Perform work within the parameters of the company policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to use and interpret various measuring devices (e.g., calipers, tape measures, level, multimeter, etc.).
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or walk for 2+ hours at a time.
- Knowledge of the different types of metal used at Strongarm (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel, cold rolled steel).
- Knowledge of sheet metal gauges.
- Knowledge of thread sizes (e.g., 8-32, 10-32).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with the department as a team player.
- Basic computer skills.
- Preferred knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Basic knowledge of NCMRs and other Strongarm processes.
- Preferred experience in an assembly environment.
