Quality Control Inspector

Human Active Technology (HAT), (www.Hatdw.com), an ergonomic workspace manufacturer located in the Lehigh Valley of PA, is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality team. This role will work with a diverse team of Quality, Operations, Sourcing and Procurement to drive quality throughout our manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials and finished goods according to HAT’s specifications
• Compiles data to determine and maintain quality of products
• Perform incoming inspections, assist with First Article inspections, perform in-process inspections, final inspection, and internal audits
• Responsible for tracking and managing non-conforming materials and for containment, problem investigation and root cause analysis

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a quality inspection, auditing, or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in reading technical drawings
• Ability to use measurement tools: Calipers, Micrometer, Coating thickness Gages, etc.
• Ability to use Coordinate-Measuring Machines
• Ability to recognize geometric dimensioning and tolerance symbols and inspect parts against them
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Ability to create formulas and manipulate data in Excel and other databases
• Knowledge of Lean Principals – preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
