The mission of the AMZ Boxwood Team is to ensure that the customer’s orders are delivered when they want them, where they want them and how they want them in a safe and cost-effective manner. To help accomplish this mission, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for utilizing the quality systems, performing process control tests, and inspecting customer parts. The mission of this employee is to be a knowledgeable production team member and ensuring all parts are painted, assembled, and marked properly during all processes and before shipment.

Job Requirements

• Perform daily tasks and meet goals of the Quality Control Department based on production and scheduling needs.
• Perform final inspection of each part prior to shipping, including but not limited to verifying that all purchase order, part drawing, specification, and part marking requirements are met in addition to completion of internal documentation.
• Perform inspections of incoming parts from vendors to appropriate specifications
• Follow and use monitoring tools to track quality metrics and assist in preparing the data for analysis.
• Interpret purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and other instructions that communicate the service to be provided for a given part.
• Utilize inspection equipment such as digital calipers, tape measure, micrometers, and weld gages.
• Assist in sorting parts, counting parts, and packaging parts when necessary.
• Work with customers and vendors concerning quality requirements for parts and final assemblies.
