Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Quality Control process to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify any deviations or non-conformities
- Analyze data and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to verify product dimensions and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality systems and procedures
- Train and educate employees on Quality Control processes and procedures
- Investigate customer complaints or product issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and track quality metrics, generate reports, and present findings to management
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance/Quality Control principles and practices (QA/QC)
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines
- Ability to analyze data and perform statistical analysis using software tools
- Experience with fabricating or manufacturing processes preferred
- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 or CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify deviations or non-conformities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
