We are a 3D Systems subsidiary leveraging their breakthrough, production-level bioprinting technology to create highly precise vascularized organ and disease models using biomaterials and human cells. Our proprietary organs-on-chips can be manufactured reproducibly in large quantities and then perfused with drugs to study the effects on healthy or diseased tissue at the earliest stages of pharmaceutical drug development.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our operations team. The QC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, particularly in the area of hydrogel scaffold production and 3D-printed bioinks. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory practices, Quality Control processes, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods using standard laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Prepare and test samples from all phases of manufacturing with the aim of determining if the product meets quality standards.
- Record and analyze data with a high level of accuracy. Prepare detailed reports on Quality Control tests and findings.
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment to ensure its optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or equipment problems in collaboration with other technical staff.
- Implement and adhere to Quality Control processes and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in the development of new Quality Control methods and procedures.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to address and prevent quality issues.
- Ensure lab safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
- Expertise and hands-on experience in microscopic techniques.
- in Microscopy, GLP and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with hydrogel scaffold production and/or 3D-printed bioinks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficient in using various types of laboratory equipment and familiar with calibration and maintenance procedures.
