Our Jackson partner is looking for a Quality Auditor to add to their team!
1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
3rd Shift Hours: 6:30 PM PM 5:00 AM
Pay Range: $17-$20 / Hour
Temporary to permanent position in Jackson, MI
PPE Required: Steel-toed boots.
Job Description for the Quality Auditor:
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and management of the company's ISO systems
- Perform document control activities including processing, review, and approval of quality records including inspection and design records.
- Attends MRB meetings and Management review meetings to provide continuous improvement plans.
- Assists with resolving internal and external quality problems and with implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist with the containment and root cause investigation activities for customer, supplier, and internal quality issues.
- Assist with reviewing and verifying non-conforming materials and following up on associated corrective actions as required.
- Participating in suppliers’ performances and conducting audits.
- Participating in the plant's first piece inspection approval process
- Audit production inspections
- Assist with Incoming Inspection
- Conduct and document receiving inspection of incoming goods
- Creating NCMR for any material failing inspection
- Participate in Plant and process audits
- Brazing Audits
- Process Audits
- Braze verification (cut and peel)
- Performing destructive testing
- Catalog results
Requirements for the Quality Auditor:
- Effective presentation/communication skills, project/resource management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment promoting company ideals
- Frequent computer/report work
- Demonstrated problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Must be proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Willing to work overtime if necessary.
