Quality Auditor

KC Jones is looking for Auditor in our Quality department. We are located in Hazel Park, MI. Only candidates who complete the two assessments and answer the questions will be considered.

We are an engineered metal finishing services company. We focus on electro and electroless plating which improves performance and extends life of critical customer parts in the automotive, aerospace, agricultural, defense and many other industries. Your work here will expose you to a variety of important parts that you will play a direct role in improving the quality and safety of customer parts in everyday products like automobiles.

• Inspect parts for nonconformance per specification.
• Conducts daily laboratory testing per job specification. Use of gages when required.
• Sort parts for defects per job traveler, quality alert, or other instruction.
• Can rod washers for press bake including the application of the proper torque per the standard work.
• Can operate the washer vision sorting equipment.
• Maintains and documents all testing and sorting activities for Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis.
• Properly identify defective product with hold tag and report problem to supervisor. Records number and type of units rejected and reasons for rejection.
• Maintains lot control for all parts in process.
• Packages product as per instructions and signs off as acceptable to ship.

Pay: $15.75 - $16.50 per hour
