**This position will be located at our West Bend, WI corporate office**
Summary of Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Quality Assurance team, which provides functional support across all profit centers.
- Contributes to all phases of new technology changes and filed programs changes/maintenance, including analysis, design, testing, integration and maintenance for multiple states, companies (future state), products, and lines of business.
- Participates in story mapping and project planning ceremonies for new technology implementations.
- Leads testing activities during system implementation and updates to ensure accuracy and analyzes and monitors implemented changes for proof of success or to identify changes.
- Assists with troubleshooting CE system problems or analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
- Communicates findings to Quality Assurance (QA) Manager and provides recommendations with support reports.
- Communicates with CE leaders and business partners (i.e. IT, Actuary, and EPM) to deliver business solutions which achieve product and territorial expansion, operational improvements, and new system implementations.
- Demonstrates personal accountability, the drive to deliver consistent results, and addresses barriers to team and individual success.
- Solves problems by driving out confusion, ambiguity, and navigating shifting priorities for the team. Selects, trains, and supervises Quality Assurance personnel. Initiates personnel actions such as salary adjustments, performance evaluations and promotions.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- 6+ years of experience in the Commercial Lines property/casualty industry
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail with focus on accuracy and quality, and a knack for identifying trends and taking action
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required; this role must have the ability to communicate with team members, other departments, and upper management.
- Strong accountability and continuous initiator
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex data or concepts and relay concerns clearly and concisely.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop others
