Bar Manager

We are seeking a Bar Manager for Little Ricky’s Rooftop Bar. The ideal candidate will embody our values by embracing positivity, ensuring each guest experiences delight, and demonstrating leadership grounded in integrity.

Little Ricky’s is a bustling rooftop bar located in the heart of the Blackstone District. We take pride in providing our patrons with exceptional service and a great atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Oversee and lead a team of bartenders, barbacks, and other staff members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide training, coaching, and support for staff development.
• Bartend during volume hours including Friday and Saturday nights to close.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure efficient day-to-day bar operations.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
• Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Interact with patrons to enhance their overall experience.

Inventory Management and Ordering:

• Maintain an effective inventory management system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Place timely orders to replenish stock and meet customer demand.

Beverage Program:

• Curate and update the bar menu, staying abreast of industry trends.
• Monitor and manage beverage costs and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

Staff Scheduling:

• Create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Consider factors such as peak hours, special events, and staff availability.
• Communicate schedules to staff in a timely and transparent manner.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Oversee responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.

Event Management:

• Coordinate and execute special events, promotions, and themed nights.
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and attract customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a busy and high-volume environment.
• In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, bar operations, and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,883.00 - $100,000.00 per year
