- Job Summary
- The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the daily activities related to collection and management of quality data to support the Quality Improvement and Government Programs Department. The Quality Assurance Specialist is knowledgeable of accreditation standards and assists with the planning, implementation, and reporting of quality measures and other data to ensure compliance with these standards. The Quality Assurance Specialist will collect data through the review of patient's medical records or review of reports generated from the medical record or other electronic databases. The analyst will work in computer programs like Microsoft to enter, store and analyze data for department's Quality Assurance and quality improvement activities. The Quality Assurance Specialist would have to be flexible and have the ability to work from home at times.

- Education
- Required: Associate's degree or 4 years' related experience
- Experience
- Required: 1 year administrative experience
- Preferred: 1 year combined experience in insurance and healthcare industries
- Preferred: experience in health insurance
- Preferred: experience in Medicare Advantage
- Preferred: knowledge of accreditation standards and processes
- Preferred: knowledge of HEDIS Measures
- Skills
