As a Manufacturing CI/QA Intern, you will get to work and learn alongside Duke's team of Continuous Improvement, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations leaders to see how CI/QA supports practices in manufacturing, Lean/CI, and Quality auditing to produce quality products to meet the needs of our customers.
The focus of this role for Summer 2024 will be to participate in the activities of the CI and QA department and utilize this knowledge to update and revise our SharePoint online toolkit to best support the business. You will gain valuable practical experience in capital goods manufacturing and have an opportunity to contribute and make a difference!
This is a paid onsite internship.
Ideal requirements:
- Student enrolled in IT, Engineering, or Industrial Tech or other related degree program
- Proficient and experienced using Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); prefer Advanced/Expert-level SharePoint experience.
- Good communication skills - Verbal and written; experience with webpage design, content creation and procedure development a plus
