Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $114,500.00 - $136,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to manage the overall testing and Quality Assurance (QA) of products within the product family. This includes managing all aspects of testing and QA activities which includes test strategy, programs, plans, execution, and reporting.
The Senior Service Delivery Manager works in a collaborative fashion with the IT Service Owners, IT People Managers, Operations Service Delivery Managers, other QA and Testing Service Delivery Managers, QA Testing Center of Excellence (CoE), Business Line Product Managers, and offshore/onshore Test Analysts to carry out the duties required.
The Senior Service Delivery Manager monitors the service quality outcomes, reports on service quality activity, and orchestrates improvements as necessary to meet the required quality service levels for the products in the family.
Essential Functions
  • Create and implement the product family testing strategy and associated test programs for the product family
  • Lead and manage all aspects of required testing, including functional, performance, stress/load, user acceptance (UAT), regression, system integration (SIT), and end-to-end testing
  • Provide oversight to ensure test plans are automated and reusable, defect and test case tracking is effective, and test data is managed appropriately
  • Develop and manage effective test reporting and metrics and communicate effectively to stakeholders
  • Participate in budget activities and help manage expense surrounding Quality Assurance and testing resources, tools, and technologies
  • Continuous process improvement in relation to reduction of testing cycle times, particularly in relation to regression testing suites
  • Interface with offshore/onshore staffing pipelines to fill resource needs
  • Provide input and work closely with the Testing CoE to develop, share, and evangelize testing and Quality Assurance standards and practices across the enterprise in a federated manner. Lead and participate in communities of interest/guilds surrounding Quality Assurance and testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance and testing best practices, methodologies, and processes
  • Strong knowledge of and/or exposure to Quality Assurance automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, ALM)
  • Strong knowledge of agile SDLC
  • Strong informal leadership and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to drive results and expert planning skills
  • Ability to understand when tactical and strategic decisions need to be made utilizing strong problem-solving skills
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong ability to document and clearly articulate concepts to various levels of technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 8+ years Quality Assurance/testing operational leadership experience required
  • Strong experience developing test artifacts such as test plans, test execution plans, and creating test data required
  • Strong experience writing manual and automated tests and executing test runs including functional, regression, and performance tests, SIT & UAT test planning & execution required
  • Strong experience in defining and managing test data required
  • Experience with Temenos solutions, core banking/financial industry, payments, and lending systems preferred

This compensation range is for the Senior Service Delivery Manager job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $114,500 to $136,500 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
