Quality Assurance Manager

Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager! We have partnered up with a growing, family owned and operated manufacturer in Laurel, MD. This is an on-site, permanent position.

Salary Range $100,000-$120,000

The QA Manager will conduct themselves as a professional representative of the company at all times, understanding that establishing good relationships with associates, vendors, and customers is critical to creating a team focused atmosphere and support for QA initiatives.

Job Duties:

• Establish and implement quality standards for products or services
• Monitor quality testing and identifying gaps in the testing
• Stay current on laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Oversee the Quality Assurance team
• Train other employees on quality procedures
• Create and distribute quality reports and documentation
• Collect and analyze Quality Assurance data
• Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of supplies

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience within the window manufacturing industry
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Good analytical and both oral and written skills
• General knowledge of plant functions (i.e. production flow, maintenance, warehouse, shipping, etc.)
• Experience with QA software and tools
• Experience managing small teams of associates (3-5 team members)
