The general role of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer Intern-Contract Management is to assist the ongoing efforts of our Quality Assurance/Quality Control program to provide support and guidance for Field Services operations. This role will work closely with the QA/QC Engineer and will work to ensure the quality of the Company’s work to meet both internal and client requirements.
This position must become proficient with the products and services offered by Field Services that include, but are not limited to, Excavation, Civil, Commercial, Industrial, Construction, Field Welding and Mechanical Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Concrete, HVAC/R, and Oil and Gas.
The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer Intern-Contract Management will report administratively to the Director of Contracts and functionally to the QA/QC Engineer and will work primarily out of the Beitzel Corporate location.

- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of the QA/QC system for all Field Services projects
- Assist in the development and implementation of a Quality Training program for Field Services office and field staff
- Work with each Field Services Division to establish group specific QA/QC inspection forms, and assist with implementation
- Ensure quality documentation and records are being maintained in Procore by the appropriate teams
- Assist in ensuring that projects follow approved source of supply requirements (i.e., approved submittals are in place and purchased materials conform along with supporting documents)
- Assist the Contract Management and Project Management teams with identifying project close out documentation requirements and ensuring such documents are being obtained and stored in Procore as projects progress
- Assist in collecting and analyzing statistical data and reports on QA/QC metrics
- Analyze data to assist in the development of corrective action plans for continued improvement of our processes, controls, and systems
- Assist in conducting annual Quality Audits

- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, or other related fields
- Must have the ability to problem-solve and to determine solutions for the customer

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite

- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
