Job Description
Responsibility and Authority:
Performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
· Managing the Quality Management System (QMS)
· Point of contact between Customers and Registrars in regards to QMS issues
· Promotes awareness, implements and enforces ISO 9001:2015 throughout the company
· Implements and enforces all Quality Management Procedures (QMP)
· Changes/creates documentation related to ISO Registration, Compliance and Customers
· Manages Document Control
· Manages Customer Source Inspections
· Initiates internal and Supplier Corrective Actions
· Manages the Internal Audit Plan
· Performs and reports results of Internal Audits
· Trains Internal Auditors
· Issues Corrective Actions resulting from internal audits, as needed
· Supports Purchasing in the selection, approval, re-approval and management of Suppliers
· Performs other job duties, as assigned
· Must perform job duties conforming to Quality Standards
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree, preferred
ASQ Certification: Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
ASQ Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ/OE), desirable
Experience implementing and maintaining an ISO Registered Quality System
Experience managing Customer Corrective Actions, Customers and Suppliers and Document Control
Computer literate: Excel, Word, Outlook
Stays up to date of Industry, ISO and Quality changes by reading, attending seminars and attending Quality Conferences
Physical Demands:
Able to travel to customer/vendor sites, as required., extensive walking and standing, able to work in a fast paced environment, able to work well under pressure, with little or no supervision
