Elbi of America, a tank manufacturer and plumbing materials wholesaler, is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector/Specialist for its California warehouse, located in Anaheim, CA.
The ideal candidate has matured a couple of years of experience as Claims adjuster or in Quality Control/Inspection and is familiar with Plumbing products.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be responsible for the quality control process
- Work with management to develop and implement Quality Assurance and quality control procedures
- Ensure Quality Assurance procedures are maintained
- Perform dimensional, visual, and mechanical Inspections and tests
- Identification of possible shortcomings and development of potential remedies in coordination with immediate supervisor
- Verify the product conformance to technical specification
- Verify the adherence to product legislation
- Perform quality control tests on sample items, using our testing equipment
- Ability to utilize inspection equipment. (Borescope, Calipers, Handheld X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer etc.)
- Be responsible for the Claims management process
- Accurate and complete documentation of rejection reports, quality records, and inspection data
- Collect, document, and evaluate claim data, assessing the legitimacy of claims received
- Interface with claimants and/or insurance companies to negotiate and settle claims
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed:
- At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a Customer Service, Quality Control or Claims Administrator position
- Knowledge of ISO9001
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior knowledge of the plumbing industry and plumbing parts terminology is a plus.
- The ability and willingness to learn plumbing installation fundamentals is a must.
