Quality Assurance Engineer - Level I - Seattle, Wa

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Level 1 - for a 6-month Contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. This position will work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office) in Seattle, WA.
Looking for a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) who has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers, and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.
This role will have high visibility to our clients new initiatives and product that will grow experience in the field with high volumes of data & CRM systems.
Required Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years industry experience testing software, including website applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Experience with Selenium
• Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases
• Experience in using test management tools like Testrail etc is desired
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Java and SQL is desired, but not required.

Compensation: $37.00 per hour
