1. Desktop Engineer/Lab QA
a. Working at the direction of the Project Manager, and with Technical Leads, and Business Leads to assist in driving the deliverables for all activity.
b. Testing and assisting in the remediation of the desktop image and delivery issues.
c. Manage PC Lab and hardware certifications
d. Reporting on the performance of various facets of the desktop image across hardware and virtual instances.
e. Confirming the effective delivery of Business Technology (BT) solutions for operating plan is on time and within budget.
f. Executing quality checks against the image, installed applications, and supporting infrastructure.
g. Assisting in the remediation of any desktop issues that may arise from testing.
h. Tracking all issues and documenting the resolution.
i. Providing recommendations on enhancements to the desktop image and delivery methods.
j. Scripting solutions to automate fixes, verify settings, and deliver enhancements to desktop or supporting infrastructure.
k. Working to address long standing issues in the environment that affect the desktop or originate from the desktop build.
l. Building and/or rebuilding systems to test modifications to the build process on an as needed basis.
m. Revising and updating migration methodology for PCs and tablets.
n. Resolving 3rd level ticket resolution.
