Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. seeks Software Quality Assurance Analyst in Berwyn, PA.   

Duties: Create, capture, and manually perform test plans and test cases related to existing and newly developed application features. Develop automation scripts using a combination of existing tools and open-source automation tools, Selenium and Cucumber to support a Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework. Produce automated unit and regression testing to ensure that existing and new code remains robust and viable. Contribute to story construction, documentation, and estimation as part of the Scrum Team. Provide QA related insight in the initial definition of new features and enhancements. Write readable and thorough JIRA tickets for product defects uncovered. Provide detailed examples and use cases to support the creation of new stories for the development backlog. Work with Product Owner/Manager to prioritize JIRA tickets created by QA within the development sprint and backlog Glean insight from business users and client support team to establish required business requirements. Translate these requirements into test cases to support development stories.   

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. Experience must include the following: (1) Quality assurance; (2) Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting test plans and test cases; (3) Core Java and Object-Oriented Concepts; (4) automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber or Maven; (5) Agile Scrum software development methodology. May require travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted.
