Description
Tyler Technologies' Outdoor Recreation Solutions team is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Analyst who will serve as a key resource for the expansion of Tyler's Outdoor Recreation platform across the state of California. Our platform works hand in hand with the latest technology in the industry supporting public policy, providing modern, flexible, and customizable approach for outdoor agencies.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Tyler Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our software products. You will be responsible for leading testing efforts, creating test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Leadership: Mentor a team of Quality Assurance Analysts, providing guidance and support in test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to identify defects and ensure software meets specified requirements.
- Test Automation: Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
- Defect Management: Track, report, and manage defects through their lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the QA function, driving innovation and best practices adoption.
- Test Environment Management: Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure availability and stability of test environments.
- Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to align testing efforts with project requirements.
- Quality Assurance Metrics: Monitor and report on Quality Assurance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. JIRA experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Dedication to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience with data modeling tools, web services and/or service-oriented architecture.
