Our Client: IS a $30M, fully-integrated manufacturer, operating from a 100,000-square-foot facility in Southern California.  

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position works in collaboration with the various internal departments (Sales, Production,

Engineering etc.) to determine root cause analysis on all customer quality-related concerns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researching, analyzing and reporting on customer quality issues.

• Investigating problems through to resolution.

• Interacting effectively with teams from various disciplines to find the resolution of problems.

• Generating in-depth Root Cause Analysis reports in relation to quality concerns.

• Maintaining tasks related to problem tickets.

• Maintain, review and update process documentation templates (RMA, Remake, Rework etc.)

associated with the role.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 4+ years’ Experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment.

• Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and analyze problems, brainstorm, and evaluate

potential solutions, and select and implement the best solution.

• Data collection and analysis skills: The ability to gather and analyze data from a variety of

sources, including observations, interviews, and written records.

• Communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with different teams from various

disciplines to find the resolution of problems.

• Strong Microsoft Office Skills

• Research skills: The ability to research, analyze and report on different trends.

• Detail-oriented: Root Cause Analysts should be detail-oriented to investigate problems through

to resolution.

• Self-motivated: Should be self-motivated to maintain tasks related to problem tickets and

process documentation

• Sense of Urgency: Must possess and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and be

comfortable in a fast-paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Fast-paced custom metal manufacturing environment.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, or in other similar fields
