Job Summary

The QC Lab Technician is responsible for supporting production by performing tests, experiments, and lab analysis to assist R&D and QC processes. The ideal person will have a strong background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology, attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
• Prepare and clean up equipment used in experiments and tests.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment to keep it operating correctly and efficiently.
• Analyze, organize and compile data and experiment results in detailed reports.
• Complete quality control and quality assurance processes to insure the reliability of lab results.
• Dispose of hazardous waste properly and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to insure project goals and timelines are met.
• Stay attuned to advancements in lab techniques and technology.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and hazardous events.
• Assist in the overall maintenance of the lab through inventory management.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology or equivalent work/school experience.
• 0-3 years of experience
• Strong understanding of scientific principles and lab techniques.
• Proficient technical understanding of lab tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of lab safety protocols and procedures.
• The ability to collaborate effectively.
