Summary of Position: The QAPI & Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting, facilitating, and executing the routine functions of the Quality and Education Departments of EverHeart Hospice. The QAPI & Education Coordinator will enhance EverHeart Hospice by coordinating quality improvement efforts including development, implementation, education, data collection, and analysis. The QAPI & Education Coordinator will report to the Chief Quality Officer.
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma required. Associate degree in health administration or health-related field preferred.
2. Minimum of one year of experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
3. Minimum of one-year secretarial experience preferred.
4. One year of health care experience preferred.
Special Skills and Requirements:
1. Shall have a valid driver’s license.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Detail oriented with excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
4. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
5. Ability to follow instructions.
6. Ability to work independently without supervision.
7. Travel to other sites as needed. Travel may be in inclement weather.
8. Ability to lift 25 lbs. of supplies or equipment.
9. Requires various amounts of sitting, standing, twisting, turning, bending, lifting, and walking.
