The Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of a BSN, designated to facilitate the functioning of the department, under the direction of the Inpatient Director. The Clinical Coordinator is directly responsible for coordinating care for the Inpatient populations. The Clinical Coordinator demonstrates excellent clinical skills and acts as a resource to the staff. He/she actively leads staff in the performance of their daily activities and participates in their performance reviews, as well as coaching and counseling when appropriate. In collaboration with the Inpatient Director, holds staff accountable for the delivery of care and services through effective communication, observation, and the management and measurement of specific interventions/practices.
