Summary:

As a Purchasing Manager you will oversee procurement of goods and services for ABI Windows, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include supplier sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management, while also collaborating with other departments to meet organizational needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes
• Collaborate with management team to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability
• Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for production
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement management

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of FeneVision or similar procurement systems
• Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and vendor management
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in contract negotiation and management
• Knowledge of fabricating processes is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
