Boeing Global Services is seeking an Experienced Procurement Agent to join their team in Dallas, TX.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Dallas, TX. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work with government program managers to source goods, to meet government/defense/foreign contract requirements
• Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services
• Responsible for researching, sourcing, evaluating and processing orders to purchase services, supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality and warranty to meet customer needs
• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager
• Experience in procurement and supply chain processes
• Strong analytic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• 3+ years of experience with Defense (Military and/or Foreign) Procurement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in SAP desirable
• ASCM/APICS Certification is desirable

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $102,000 - $138,000
