Registered nurse who specializes in population based Public Health nursing practice. The practice is system, community and individually focused to protect entire populations from disease, illness, and injury and promotes physical and mental health.
Position assignments may include but are not limited to:

- Maternal Child Health home visiting, WIC (Women, Infant, Children), MN Choice Assessment, Case Management for home and community based services.
- Personal care assessments, immunizations, disease prevention and control.
- Emergency preparedness, health education, Child and Teen Check-up outreach.
- Follow Along Program, environmental health, worksite wellness, childcare health consulting, Towards Zero Death, chemical health prevention, quality improvement.
